I know it’s counterintuitive because it’s a gas station, but the food at Buc-ee’s is absolutely phenomenal.  There’s such high throughput that everything is fresh, and all of the custom-prepared meals are restaurant quality.  FAR better than Starbucks food from the case.

I never have. Stock tires are a compromise that considers noise and mileage. Two things I really don’t care about. I can sacrifice some noise and mileage for traction, so I often get summer only tires and a set of Blizzaks.

It really does, pretty much the exact kind of place to have for charging stops, stop, wander, micturate, ingest, all while your car chugs down electrons on a fast charger, get enough range for another two hours or so on the freeway. Would do wonders for road trip anxiety in more rural areas.

The irony is that a buc-ees makes an even better argument as an EV charging station
