While I don’t discount the need to push to domestic’s and domestic production.

Don’t forget that while driving that 800 uphill miles, we have it down so clean in timing that every vehicle must fill up from 10-100% on less than 7.3 minutes. Otherwise, no go, I'll be late for work.

the strength of our products and revenue has masked this dysfunctionality for a long time.

I owned a Nissan Leaf for a few months, and it changed my opinion about electric cars in two ways.

He was saved by his quick thinking and upper body strength...” As someone who spent years racing bikes I kind of chuckled about the upper body strength line. While pro road cyclists are some of the fittest people on earth they aren’t known for their pull-up strength.

Sigh.  Unfortunately me.

  • EVs are more eco-friendly. Even if your electricity is generated 100% by coal/natural gas it’s still better for the environment due to increased efficiency with a larger turbine generating the energy vs a tiny one in an ICE. on top of that because electricity is agnostic you can charge it anywhere without needing to

Infrastructure is really not a big deal unless you live in an apartment. that’s going to be one of the things that is going to have to change in the coming years. cold weather is also really not a factor and will be less so as more EV makes add heat pumps to their vehicles. my 2017 Bolt still nets more than 200 miles

You are part of the problem.

Seriously?

I did take a pretty good look and couldn’t find anything. There is an option for an “inner tent, a heated blanket, and a shoe and bag organiser”. You know, for camping.

I think people are buying their leases out mostly because they didn’t put any miles on the car for the last 3 years.  We just bought out our Atlas because we’re way under our mileage limit and the car is woth $8k more than the residual we owed.  It was a no-brainer.

Buy a few bulk bags of rice from Costco, put them in the cars and close the windows.

wait you want a 4 foot high tailgate?

If it’s not an ‘extended’ cab with that little shitty folding seat it doesn’t count

Let’s face is: anyone who’s interested in saving the planet isn’t buying a Corvette, hybrid or otherwise. This “hybrid” system is really just a way for Chevrolet to take advantage of the insane torque characteristics of electric motors to make the Corvette even faster than it would have been if it had been only

Okay but why though?

The Crosstour is ugly not bad. Those are 2 different things. Other than the subjective metric of appearance, it’s an absolutely fantastic vehicle.

your story seems to completely validate the premise of the article that the police are bad at deciding who and when to stop?

This is one of the most idiotic articles ever posted on Jalopnik.
