I owned a 91' 2-door GMC Jimmy. This one is the 200HP version. The 160HP version was TBI injected. This was the new Vortec motor.

Limited top speed, limited range, too small to have sex in... yep, totally the car I will make my kid drive.

I miss my i-MiEV so much. I was going to drive that thing until the heat death of the sun.

This is all the car 70% of the population would ever need. Myself included. We may WANT M-cars and AMGs and huge stupid trucks, but we certainly don’t need them.

It’s not stupidity.

I have not read through all the comments, but have seen enough of the “why would anyone do this?, cars are meant to be driven” variety to answer or at least not criticize.

I’ll be the contrarian and go with a highly illogical NP.

Moral of the story: Can’t loose money on a car if it wasn’t worth anything in the first place.

Here you go.

Slideshow is garbage. If this is permanent, it will be the death of this site.

This slideshow format is garbage. I’ve stuck with Jalopnik for a long time, and Tom, David, and Torch are primary reasons why.

But making articles into slideshows to generate more ad views is going to be a REAL quick way to kill a lot more ad views, myself included.

I hope the Herb up top hears this, but probably not.

Nope, fuck your slideshow. Did not read.

Rob’s been cranking out NPOCP for years, only abated by well deserved vacations. Let’s not forget he has a full time job as well. Three cheers for the man who creates the first post many of us read every weekday.

Agreed - been my first internet stop @8am for years.

That dash! I forgot how amazing those 80's GM button dashboards were, I used to look in parking lots for the most button-filled cars. My dad’s Pontiac 6000 had the most of any car we owned.

Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

A little Lysol and send it. We’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.

Never buy someone else’s… oh wait, $2,000? Well, OK then. Plus, at least they’re honest that this is a project that they no longer want to deal with. Seller gets points for being upfront about that. Good luck to them with whatever other projects they have on hand.
