it’s mind blowing, just how quickly people forget.

lol.... no, we’re paying a wonderfully cheap $4.59 a gallon right now... /s but in all seriousness, we’ll probably hop back up to $7/gallon again next time the wind blows or some snow falls or something.
this all sounds great for me. id love to see these things start to go on closeout again... i’d be happy to swoop in on another EV, before gas heads on up to $7 a gallon
Electrical shit..... I would like to eventually EV swap my 37 buick, but electrickery sometimes makes my eyes glaze over.
when you do get the welder, obviously get yourself an auto dimming hood... but more importantly..... get yourself a proper 3m P100 respirator. do not breathe the fumes.
This isnt the first time I’ve heard of this. I had to take our first gen Ioniq ev in, because they had a recall on the original coolant. When I was picking it up, there was a lady there picking up her Ioniq 5, after not having it for something like 2 months, because (according to her paperwork) they needed to replace…
I just saw one the other day. it looks really nice.
a wagonized polestar 2 would reeeeaaallly straddle that line between a wagon and SUV... i wouldnt hate it tho.
it always reminds me of this song.
I’ll be completely honest..... when they came out with the Maverick, I was honestly surprised they put the hybrid option at the $20k pricepoint.... dont get me wrong.... for consumers it was fantastic... but as a business standpoint, I feel like they really shot themselves in the foot...
it’s still worth it. it’ll pay for itself in like 20~25k miles or about 2 years... not to mention how we dont know how much gas is gonna cost in 10 years, but i have a strong feeling it’s gonna be more than it costs today.... plus with increasing gas prices, hybrids imo will be worth more than just straight gas.
I personally know three. both of whom were single at the time, one still is.
these things may stand a chance in LA traffic, even at 28mph, the narrow body should give it the advantage of being able to split lanes. it would really give it the OJ meets Italian job vibe. though loaded with gold, it may struggle in the hills.
i had one as a rental for work once..... these things fuckin sucked. the ergonomics and positioning were right there in line with the chevy trax
I had a fanatic that died on me. They weren’t super helpful.
Havent owned a Pontiac, but the Volvos of that era in the T5 and manual are an absolute blast to drive, and they’re pretty similar on paper… late 90’s produced some of the best cars imo. Easy to mod (ECUs weren’t super locked down either), cheap, still tons of good support, and OBD 2 is super helpful with engine…
Sometimes the idea is already in their head, and it takes someone else saying they can’t do it, in order to push them over the edge and just go do it.
It would bring joy to my heart and soul, watching some Christians freak the fuck out because their holiday is being moved to the front of the month.
Lol. Stock tires.
I ran a set of those 730s on my 24hrs of lemons car. Those things were awesome. I feel like they’re cheap because of the issues they had with the 720’s, which they seemingly fixed in the 730.
