I have a 92 k1500 with 106k miles on it, and immaculate interior, (paint is faded, but otherwise no real dents or anything). People have offered me 10k for the thing, and I’ve been super tempted to sell it… but then i would have to start all over again in finding another unmolested truck.

I drive a 92 k1500… it was a normal size truck maybe 15 years ago…. It’s basically a mini truck today,

ok, so what’s the policy? try again in 2 weeks?

Fwiw the ex30 isn’t small-ish. it’s the size of the bolt within a couple inches. It’s actually a small car

I’ve driven thru an area on the freeway where there was a brushfire spanning both sides, and I can say the smoke was thick. Hard to see very far ahead, we all slowed down to about 25mph.

our 1st gen ioniq gets 193mi (WLTP - apples for apples) out of 38kwh. and that’s basically a hatchback, with a full back seat, and storage space behind that.... the ioniq 6 miles/kwh is really good too.

couple years ago we picked up an EV lease here in Cali, and IDK why we didnt do it sooner.... with all the rebates cali and federal were dishing out, it’s cheaper to have a new EV than running the gas alone thru an ICE new or old... at which point, why not just drive a new car. the pandemic and chip fiasco flipped

Basically what I did, but I spent it on quitting my job for a few years and finishing a degree instead of a car.

1937 buick special. series 40.

Whatever cheapest model you get, go a step up on the interior/trim. Heated seats, the leather style seats (we aren’t in blistering heat like AZ), and adaptive cruise. A lot of times it’ll come with a little nicer stereo setup too… and in the long run, it’ll be easier to resell your car when you’re done…. Sure, you’ll

shit... I’d take glorious tailfins over this shit.

we leased a first gen ioniq and they applied the $7500.. to that along with all sorts of closeout pricing... im crossing my fingers that our 2020 gets added to the used car credit list (2019 made the list). because it would be nice to get an additional $4000 back for buying it after our lease too.

I’m gonna say it… this car just looks generic AF and sad…

Eeny” could be rewritten in Japanese as “inai”(sounds the same)… and that could mean “not here”

I’ve been pulled over on this thing a handful of times. They’ve never been able to ticket me. It’s 100% street legal as a “bicycle” according to the vehicle code in California.

Oh yeah. Monitors are definitely better if you’re running into motion sickness. It took me a while to get past it in VR… but for full immersion and pretending to actually sit in a race car, ya just can’t beat VR.

YES. Sim racing in VR is hands-down where it’s at.... I’ve gotten a lot of practice on our local track here in VR. It was INCREDIBLY helpful and valuable for memorizing track and knowing the line, so when we went out there, we didnt drive around like complete jackasses.

yup this is it... they wont sell a million of these trucks.... they dont need to... they just need to sell the handful they built.

that 119 for the 2000 is probably a single cab-short bed.

then how would you flex on the people driving behind you, showing them you can afford expensive carbon bikes as well?
