Oh yeah. Monitors are definitely better if you’re running into motion sickness. It took me a while to get past it in VR… but for full immersion and pretending to actually sit in a race car, ya just can’t beat VR. 

YES. Sim racing in VR is hands-down where it’s at.... I’ve gotten a lot of practice on our local track here in VR. It was INCREDIBLY helpful and valuable for memorizing track and knowing the line, so when we went out there, we didnt drive around like complete jackasses.

one thing to keep in mind with fuel consumption on interceptors is that Idle burn rate on some of those vehicles is roughly 1 gallon/hr. so that’s fuel being burned, not being used to move the vehicle forward. with an EV, there is a direct correlation between movement and energy used.... this is a large component…
