yup and the warranty threshold is something like 80% capacity... so even if you end up at 81% capacity, and you dont score that sweet sweet warranty, you still have a functioning car.

they also did that PRV engine that went in to the delorean too. that was fun.... but I still much prefer the quirky bits of the 5 cylinder
at first I was somewhat against the whole cycling the battery for home backup use, but now that CARB is requiring manufacturers to do a 10-year 150k mile warranty on batteries starting in 2026, I think I’m all for it.
I used to have one in my GC. the car was an absolute turd, but the engine was solid. I felt like I was constantly chasing a worn out control arm, steering component, or another stupid electrical issue.... the only thing I had to replace on that engine was a valve cover gasket. but aside from that it was oil changes on…
good think it looks pretty, because like anything alfa, you’ll be staring at it on the side of the road wondering what went wrong more times than not.
Thanks, but you can keep your extra cylinder. I’ll stick to my Volvo 5-Cyl.
who know’s what theyre really thinking but I think the approach is that NIO will continue on as their higher end brand, while they’ll roll in to market with a separate brand for the lower end stuff.... one thing you want to avoid as a brand is to be associated with your low end product or just known for your low end…
to be quite frank, and in my experience from using a handful of other E-bikes..... no.
yeah. to be completely honest Id guess it to be more for the occasional user that doesnt need a nimitz class truck, and not the actual pro who should just have the 8' bed.
got wayyy more than my moneys worth. at the time I was driving it around for work and my company paid for all my mileage.... I kept a log of every single dollar I put in to the car including insurance, gas, and oil, and every single dollar the company paid out on that. I wanted something a little faster (oh that’s…
GM did their “multi-pro” tailgate thing where you drop the tailgate down, and you can lift up a small half-tailgate out of your main tailgate so your 8 foot shit doesnt just go sliding out the back.... I just wish it were available with a taller lip
I’ve actually really enjoyed having 2 rows. after owning the extended cab id never go down to a single cab. I use my truck for chores around the house, but I also use it for transporting myself, my gear, and others to races... bike races are a ton of fun, 4 or 5 of us pile in with our bikes and gear in the back, or…
I picked up an immaculate (90 year old lady who garaged it the entirety of the car’s life) 98 S70 n/a 113k miles for $500 and a serious misfire... new spark plug wires and it was like brand new. wish i had never gotten rid of it, because it was in near perfect condition.
it’s totally forgettable, and that’s perfectly ok, as long as they can keep it under 45k
I dont mind it as a large, easy to read navigation system. i dont use nav that often but when I do, I like when it’s super easy to read in half a glance.
If we bought the car out after the lease, over 6 years, the monthly would easily be under $300 with zero down. And we’re still wayyy ahead in equity because they gave us a crazy low close out to get the car off the lot
100% the plan for that one. Our buyout is crazy low too because it was a close out they were trying to move off the lot.
we’re insanely grateful we snagged one of the last EV lease deals for my wife right before the chip shortage. we went $700 down and $150/month for 35 months on an Ioniq limited EV.... that really puts us in a financially comfortable spot. I dont think I can ever see myself with a car payment over $400/m let alone…
I think the saving grace for this is the low miles. sure there are low mile cars out there that are in shit shape because they dont get driven hard enough and whatnot but with this thing having 3 pedals, id guess its seen a wider range of the tac than what a computer would allow.
