remember when they said the model 3 was going to have a $30,000 option... when was that? 2017?

My first car was a 2012 Ford Focus hatchback in manual. I sold 3 of my bicycles, and paid cash brand new off the lot in 2011 (I used to work at a bike shop at the time, so I would get employee discounts on my bikes too, so I’d usually sell and upgrade my bikes every year anyways.)

ummm to be fair, all of those reservations are refundable. there’s no reason not to put those in, and just take the first delivery.

Nice. Yeah. It’s a blast! We do Sonoma, Buttonwillow and thunderhill here in Cali.

Yeah if i had to take a guess, they’ll probably increase the price of the CT to north of 80K starters, and then introduce a lower price/smaller unibody truck, more maverick size. I honestly think the CT was more of a stunt to shut up investors, and drum up some hype to hold over till they had something actually worth

here’s the thing.... the pedaling on those quads are more of a “technicality”.... I dont know for sure about this one, but IIRC some of these quads dont actually have a chain going to the wheels. so the person onboard really isnt working all that hard.

yeah, absolutely. hence why the comparison I made was at $70k... I could potentially see flat paneling being cheaper to produce in house. I was just going off their statement from when they launched the thing.

yeah, I absolutely agree, hence why the numerical comparison was made at 70K... realistically if they even produce that base model, it’ll still start at around $50~$60k minimum my guess.. I should have said $40k****

yeah this was my first thought too. I honestly wonder how much price gouging is going on with gas prices there too.

not to mention the CT starts at $40k... and the model Y starts at $63k.....

I feel like this is a very much apples vs oranges scenario too, weighted by super high depreciation cars also not being available in yellow...

I’ve been on the flip side of that, where the VP was like “we’re scrapping last year’s program, and here’s this new program!” which COMPLETELY undoes all the shit we worked toward over the last year. and it’s so vastly different and confusing..... yet every year they seemed to completely out-do themselves in terms of

the comments on 18wheelers.....

Gotta give a callout to the 24 hours of lemons, (or Luckydog, which is a similar series)...

nah. it should just be a rebate like california. not a tax credit...

I know this car/engine like the back of my hand. if anything is wrong, it’s an easy fix.

by bicycle, no more than 120 miles or so, in case i have to ride back.

hoping they have that battery issue sorted and this Blazer doesnt set the house ablaze.

I too dig the 850 badge. (albeit a little different)

if you arent towing, that hawk just sips gas at closer to 18mpg, sir!
