remember when they said the model 3 was going to have a $30,000 option... when was that? 2017?

My first car was a 2012 Ford Focus hatchback in manual. I sold 3 of my bicycles, and paid cash brand new off the lot in 2011 (I used to work at a bike shop at the time, so I would get employee discounts on my bikes too, so I’d usually sell and upgrade my bikes every year anyways.)

Yeah if i had to take a guess, they’ll probably increase the price of the CT to north of 80K starters, and then introduce a lower price/smaller unibody truck, more maverick size. I honestly think the CT was more of a stunt to shut up investors, and drum up some hype to hold over till they had something actually worth…

here’s the thing.... the pedaling on those quads are more of a “technicality”.... I dont know for sure about this one, but IIRC some of these quads dont actually have a chain going to the wheels. so the person onboard really isnt working all that hard.

yeah, absolutely. hence why the comparison I made was at $70k... I could potentially see flat paneling being cheaper to produce in house. I was just going off their statement from when they launched the thing.
