fair enough... it’s wild that even a state capitol lacks the proper infra. guess I’m a little spoiled here on the west coast... we’ve done a handful of trips now where we’ve found ourselves needing to plug in, but never more than 15 min or so to add just enough miles to get home.

2 things....

haha. we always talk about “what’s next?” but the problem is that our car right now runs perfectly, so we cant quite justify replacing it yet... need more garage space first.... also building that roll cage was a LOT of work.... that being said, whatever we do next it’ll revolve around the volvo 5 cylinder motor...

not a horrendous story, but I felt like an idiot...

It’s a solid mid pack car. We have really good straightaway speed (R-tune) but you notice the weight in the corners.

trucks just keep getting bigger, my 92 K1500 is rated for 7000, which is still way more than what I pull.

no kidding... I have a 92 K1500 with 103k miles on it... I bought it from the original owner at 82k miles... he mainly used it to pull his camper around, IDK how much it weighed, but it was on the larger side of things. anyways, from the outside the truck is in near perfect condition because of the low miles... but

YES! Bring back colorful cars!

Yes, but that being said, while we’re in a market where they’re waitlisting their newest cars, and selling every single car they build, marketing is a complete waste of money - no need to push it, when it’s already sold. Unfortunately, in this seller’s market i doubt that means the pricing is going to be coming down

if the dealer is admitting they made a mistake, it seems that this case is really coming down to how much $$$. seems like a pretty straightforward case... that could probably settle for somewhere between $2~4 million. granted, it’s texas, where they hate human individuals, so my guess would maybe be as little as $1.5

those who dont know history are doomed to repeat it... those who know history are doomed to watch people repeat it...

yeah, we really arent all that far off from 2008~2014 price per barrel at roughly $110 give or take

yeah we have a 2000 Volvo S70.

We just got back from racing 24 hours of Lemons at Thunderhill last weekend...

It’s a great song and great movie. I’m a huge fan of CW myself, and have pretty much every single album he’s ever produced. There’s actually 2 versions. the original, and this one above for the movie... there’s also “Round the world with the rubber duck” - which is more of a sequel to the Convoy songs... its got some

None of them.

Last time I rode a ridgid MTB (Trek Sawyer.. that was a fun bike)... I split my head open... hit a bump hard, my hand slipped off the bars, flew off the trail, in to a pile of cut up branches... one of them went straight thru my helmet and almost skewered my forehead... I have a scar from about 20 stitches front and

First of all, California’s Minimum Wage is $15.50... so,
$7.25/gal is roughly 28 minutes of work at minimum wage....

1st gear: I think it’s also worth adding that in the last 2 years with the increased WFH, theres a LOT of cars out there that just arent getting driven nearly as much. also with gas prices, people are probably going to be a little more conservative as to how far/hard they’ll be driving their cars as well. I think this

yeah I agree, even with all these electric cars, It’s mind boggling why there isn’t sufficient focus on reducing aerodynamic drag... tesla actually does a really good job in this area. Hyundai’s first ioniq was phenomenal, their current ioniq, less so unfortunately.
