The biggest question is: what are LISA'S trophies doing in BART'S bedroom? No wonder the boy has such low self esteem.

Apparently more than enough people still care to watch the show that it stays on air and just keeps going, and going, and going. Season 28 is already confirmed.

"It only took us 27 years to get this desperate. Not sure if we should feel pride or shame at that…"

This episode was set in 1922, not 1923.

Are you reviewing episode two or three? You don't seem to be able to keep them apart here. Or else you mislabel your reviews.

That baby is so big because filming with an actual newborn is not very practical. That is why "newborn" babies on TV look like 3 months old babies.

Lisa's plot would have worked better if she hadn't framed it as trying to prove that women can be scientists too - something that hardly needs proving in 2015 (and already did in older episodes many times over).

Why, how dare they steal online critic's thunder! Mocking the show is OUR job, dangit! :D

The show is a long runner, there is bound to be some overdose on any character, even background. But frankly, I get more tired of the umpteenth Moe-dates-someone-then-loses-her plot than of Lisa pursuing her musical career.

"Pointless" couch gag? Since when do couch gags need to have points? Early seasons definitely had no points to make in couch gags.

Interestingly, Trey and Matt don't have social media accounts themselves. Glass houses?

What do you mean, hanging reality in the name of blind tolerance is too far even for South Park? Its exactly the kind of thing South Park does all the time. And it is a nice metaphor for the underlying message of the show this season: that political correctness often implies a dismissal (or murder) of reality.

Actually, the idea of our live-action being their animation sounds reasonable, and could be pretty funny. Just add a few lines about "poor animation" and "unrealistic looking faces" and its funny.

Marge's voice sounds… off, throughout the entire episode. I hope this is not what they are going with for the rest of the season.

I don't understand why this episode doesn't deserve higher than a B+. I thought it was rather good, and your review seems to agree.

Actually, I think people being like him instead of those Yelpers (or worse - YouTube commenters) would be a great improvement. And yes, the reviewer was taking a very long time groping around for a word that he really should know as a reviewer.

It was even more ridiculous when you realize that Gerald is JEWISH. And he doesn't even blink at it!

With "all of us", you mean US citizens, right? Glad I live in Europe… I think.

I think a voice actor leaving was inevitable, given that the series is already a quarter of a century old. Thats half a career's worth of work.

This episode should get a plus from having a Dutch character speak actual Dutch (instead of German), with authentic Dutch games mentioned, instead of confusing Dutch with German or Scandinavia like so many other shows.
