Their biggest competitor is Olympia. In fact, many rinks use Olympias because they are cheaper (not in quality but in price). I actually preferred Olympias when I drove. We just called it “the machine” or “the boner” at work.

My record to flood an Olympic sized rink is 5 minutes. I was flying (average is 8-9mins).

As someone who drove one for years, the novelty wears off fast. It’s all fun until you have to do it 8-10 times a day or spend 5 hrs cutting ice.

As the saying goes, locks only keep honest people out. I work for a college doing maintenance and locks are part of my job. I have yet to meet a lock I couldn’t get through in less than 5 minutes. Sometimes with precision, sometimes with brute force but still, less than 5 minutes.
