Exactly my thought. Fuck BMW why did you have to get all weird. I have a Q5 and Audi implemented the classic look into the new LED gauges perfectly. Love almost everything about the new X5 (Grills are maybe slightly too large), but you lost some of your soul with these gauges.

I haven’t minded them, but the only feature of them that I found halfway useful was displaying what gear i’m in. That was nice to have right up there, and it’s just a static number so definitely not distracting. The rest just felt redundant, even the navigation, but it certainly didn’t bother or distract me.
