Two things. you actually should never leave the parking ticket in the car. This is a deterrent to car thief’s. Second, how far from home were you, would a cab not have been cheaper? Could that also have been combined with some sort of public transit?

He didn’t get any kind of ass out of there in time. He did nothing except get lucky as hell.

The funniest part of this statement is the “for $65K” part. One huge point of this you are missing is they likely marked all these super smart people up about 20 grand for the honor of getting one...errr getting told to fuck off because Dodge wants to “start fresh”. So for 80-85K, you bet your ass i’d be going

And in other news, people were seen drinking beer who were not standing on a sizzling black top parking lot in the dead of August.

Exactly. That was my immediate thought.

Sometimes i feel that one handed backhand ends up in the net way too often.

They never closed the roof, during the match at least.

Yes. He is still clearly one of the best playing, but he just cant finish it off anymore. I want him to get another one so bad. Djokovic becoming this machine does not help.

Are they doing it in a puddle of wine, or blood in that gif?

Yea I was a little let down by that fact. To the authors credit it does say “balloon borne”. Still seriously cool, but much different than standard fireworks, which as you said is basically impossible. You can use this method to draw basically anything up there and light a fuse. Boom, Ariana Grande licking a donut

It sounds from the commentary that there are actually wires suspended by the balloon. I assume those wires make up the ladder shape and are obviously lined with some kind of powder that has a long burn.

As a Nike employee, thank’s for the write up, with all the nice visuals. I’ll be sure to remember this next time i’m crossing the country in coach.

Yea I understand that but here’s how I look at it. A car built on the term “raw power” means that minimal thought went into the rest of the cars dynamics. Who cars about weight, suspension, tuning (to a degree)...whatever. The thought process was, put a giant powerful engine in this thing and mash the pedal.

Power to weight is exactly one example of it not always being about raw power. Those two things are not synonymous.

Oh I thought there were a few more on the global MPH list. haha Yes, part of my thinking was 0-62 = 100kph. We corrected because 62 is stupid. haha

OK nevermind, I understand it’s a Swedish company and all. Sorry I didn’t know off the top of my head that it’s exactly 300KPH. I still think a MPH based test would be better to report numbers on in MPH countries.

What the hell is this 186mph thing anyway? Is that an even number in KPH? Does every car run this test to 186? Even if so can we get a couple of more rounded off general benchmarks that we can test by? 150, 180, 200mph.

Exactly my thought. Stoppie? The fuck?

F1 did race there for years, and it was not an oval. They use infield to create a twisty track, I think using only one portion of the oval.

That’s a scary ass job. They should tie those guys to overhead bungee cords so they can jump over the car when shit like this happens.
