I don’t believe she was Muslim. A former husband was Muslim and she chose to keep his last name, but her employer says she never practiced the faith herself.

I thought this was the steamiest of steamy hot takes, but you doubled-down later in the thread so I was wildly mistaken. You have a very eccentric notion of social responsibility towards sociopaths. It’s a curious world in which you live.
Failure to signal a lane change or turn. Using a cellphone while driving. Applying makeup while driving. Reading a newspaper while driving. Owning a Lexus.
I’m breaking into the vending machine on the way down to the sub-basement, for then I will be unto like a god with my Cheezits and Fritos.
Why isn’t this fixed yet? What does it take to get people some clean freaking water?
That would’ve been a profoundly different show and I suspect the success of the most recently concluded iteration was predicated on the absence of black folks. I mean, those characters wouldn’t have know what to do with folks of color moving into their neighborhood.
Ah...got it.
LOL! You and me both, cuz, you and me both. It was ye olde proverbial “wakeup call”.
Absolutely! When I od’d, I wouldn’t have known that I was heading for the Big Black unless I was told when I got back to the mortal plane. Heroin is a helluva drug. So, kids...don’t do drugs.
I’m with you. It’s insane that this hasn’t been fixed. That said, I’m not a believer in CP in almost any circumstance.
But this doesn’t explain why state legislatures wouldn’t advocate for a method that was both painless and readily available. If your method is both painful and predicated on drugs almost impossible to acquire, you’d think they’d replace that method. It’s insane!
This is the great, unanswered question that surrounds capital punishment. There are a multitude of painless and ungruesome methods for killing someone. Why people-killing states can’t pick one is god’s own private mystery.
And I love the A-10 with as much passion as I loathe everything the F-35 stands for. I served along side an A-10 squadron. Those machines at work are the most terrifying thing I’ve seen.
Is that a lot? I mean, the F-35 is at 1.5 trillion and rising. At least the MOAB works. For a weapon system whose mission no other munition can accomplish, that sounds like a bargain to me. Of course, ymmv.
I think you may find your numbers are a bit off.
What the fuck is wrong with that guy?
There’s an sf writer who did similar things with his planet-killing battlecruisers. It was actually really funny.
Uh-oh. You’re gonna get tore up. I can’t even bring myself to read the replies.
Fair enough.
