This is actually better for the environment. It is better to return something you will never use then to keep in cooped up in your room and have it be wasted raw materials. What if a 1st world person gave a 3rd world person a brand new iPhone 4S? He would probably wanna return it and get something more useful. …
I think its interesting all the people who are not liking the iPad 2 reference are all making car references. I have not read one comment that tries to explain their point using something other than cars. With that said, the tablet market is relatively small right now and everyone knows apple's products are usually…
haha thats great
kinda ironic the most viewed video on youtube (and arguably one of the most successful pre-teen/teen sensations) is on this list. I guess with a lot of popularity comes a lot of hate. I for one would be one of those people hitting the dislike button. Cant stand that song!
gotta love Giz at times. See an article titled "NASA captures what could be alien spaceship!". I click on it, then realize its just a glitch in image processing and not a spaceship after all. I guess it DID get me to click on the image and comment. Oh how I hate news sometimes.
that thing is huge! I thought the giant centipede would be bigger... I have seen it devour lizards!
I live in cary (a suburb of Raleigh) and our current population is ~140,000. When I type in greater than 100,000, my town does not show up as being hit. Does this not take suburbs into account? Or is this based on the census of 2000? back then we only had ~94,000. Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Charlotte, and…

1. its not a fitness watch. A lot of people seem to be using it as one but its only a secondary feature.
Yeah that does sound bad. If I am not mistaken though, Siri will only answer to commands started with her name. How many times is the TV going to say Siri? Also, Siri over time will get to know your voice. If it can distinguish between your voice and the tv's then that would be awesome. Also, the TV knows what…
ha yeah, notifications was a rip-off of android i'll give you that. Multitasking on the other hand I would not say was an android rip-off. Thats like saying android invented multitasking on a handheld device. Yes android had it before iPhone but I think the two features are different enough to no be considered a…
I love how the timeline really shows off how android phones have gotten increasingly bigger over the years. Hey by 2050 we're all* going to be talking on 30 inch phones.
Some things I wish would get fixed PRONTO:
I know what you mean. It is kinda annoying. But this is not just Giz. The day the iPhone came out, you could go to any news website and find at least 2 articles on it. You have to look at it this way, the iPhone is the number one phone in the world. Android phones will not get as much press until they start…
I have to say it but switch to sprint! I know what your getting at and its frustrating. Apple seems to keep coming out with data intensive stuff (iCloud and Siri) while cell providers are restricting our data. But just giving up and saying oh well, Verizon and AT&T won, companies should just except it and move on. …
it says pear italian ice from Rita's.... I click on it... its a free sample of their "new" pear flavor. I click get deal... sends me to a facebook page created back in may! If you walk into Rita's you can try any flavor for free anyways. Doesnt seem very hobomodo appropriate.
you may not yet have heard yet Giz that... NORTH CAROLINA IS GETTING HIT BY A CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE!! What does NYC got going for it? a POSSIBLE encounter with at most a cat 2... and the latest models show it being less than that if it even hits NYC.
My thoughts exactly. I live in north carolina. There is like a 95% chance NC is getting hit with something. There is like a 20% chance NYC is going to get hit. So why worry people to death about something that might never happen? Stupid reporters and journalists always trying to stir up unnecessary trouble.
So pretty much no one has invented anything in 2,000+ years.
