@ynguldyn: Thanks for that suggestion! I checked it out, and found the city that I wanted (Chicago) was on sale (for $0.00) and after using it a bit, I think it has all the map data that I need. Shiny.
The cool backgrounds were one of the few things I liked about Bing.
Awesome! I can keep maps of my city on my iPod Touch. Very handy.
@talexe: It's far more lightweight. Also, it deals with Chinese hanzi better, I've found.
