Trolling is the most predictable of all human activities.

However, online chatter certainly suggests not everyone loved it.

Eat Shit trolls. Eat shit.

The Jedi are not a monolith

“Hey Bob, you think we should put up some caution tape?”

Fire in space in Star Wars has never been new though!

Sound is transmitted in space in Star Wars as well!

Star Wars is not Star Trek, and that’s just fine. There’s lots of problematic stuff in Lucas’ original vision, and it doesn’t always make sense. If anything, when they try to explain things, it just makes things worse.  Yes, midichlorians and parsecs, I’m looking at you two.  Star Wars has never been about big ideas,

DO NOT comment or ungrey “juan” or “Slider6294" they’re plain trolls who don’t care about actual anaylsis,

That shot of the woman shining the industrial-strength torch through herself... that’s unique. I like that a lot.

I feel like the facehuggers are going to be more of a focus on this one - expect them to be stalking the cast for a while before the last 30 mins or so is chestbuster/xeno time.

They’re really leaning into the Facehuggers in this one, which I appreciate. But yeah, damn, this looks amazing.

wow. this looks amazing. like.. wow.

Oui oui baguette!

Would all of the food be stolen from poor countries?

Someone should open an organic grocery store catering exclusively to swashbuckling archaeologists.

This exactly. Not sure why people keep claiming that she “deleveled” in the survivor trilogy. It is literally the beginning of her story into becoming a total badass.  By the end of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I can see her easily becoming the version of Lara from the older games and even the upcoming cartoon.

The reboot trilogy was supposed to be Lara’s origin, showing us how she got to be the character of the original, so it makes sense that she’d get back there eventually.

Imma agree with you here, and I haven’t even seen a moment of Clone Wars. I saw that character, and I thought, “Oh, wow, that’s probably a character that means something to people. It’s showing how terrible the murder of all those Jedis has been. I get it. This is a moment of pathos.”

When did sneering cynicism become the default mode with which everyone else consumes all forms of media?
