so much bs going on around people being cancelled over Gaza.

If it’s laid anything bare, it’s that any criticism of Israel is branded as “antisemitic” in order to stifle Palestinian perpsectives, and has been for a long time.
“The Israel-Palestine Conflict” ... cute title for a genocide.
when only one of them receives a burger and fries, but the rest frantically descend on the tray for a fry or two
I played it for around 30 expecting the good part of the game to start any minute, but it never did.
Sometimes you go into a game with high hopes and you end up playing longer than you ought to because the game “can’t really be this boring, the good part has to start after this next quest”.
One of the best games ever made! I hope it holds up for someone new to the franchise, a lot of the stuff that HL2 pioneered is now standard in games of today.
You’re in for a hell of ride.
I have never played HL2 and I picked it up just a few days ago. Kind of excited.
Boltgun for $15 is a damn good deal, what a fun game that was.
That it just isn’t worth 56USD let alone 70USD. Having played it for 45 hours, the game just never felt engaging. I will spend 60 USD on a 11 hour Mario game or 70 on a 30 hour Spider-Man game and not regret it because they’re consistently engaging despite their small flaws.
I need it to not offer up good deals, because despite the size of my library, I still see games I want, and I know I’m unlikely to actually play most of them. Someone do surgery on my brain or something.
They should have set the piece in Australia. Then you would have plausibility for everyone dying.
Honestly, I find all the characters in this show so obnoxious in their own way, that I’m rooting for a “And Then There Were None” type scenario.
It’s her self importance that gets me. That she’s capable of the mental gymnastics that enables someone to practice freeganism AND work for Goldman Sachs. That in practically everything she writes/stars in, she casts herself as a literal savior, be it a cult leader, the world’s greatest hacker or even an actual…
I dislike her writing, but I have no opinion on her as a human being.
I liked it a lot better when I didn’t know who any of these people were.
I’m continually impressed with Nathan Fielder’s acting on this show. Even though Asher is not that different from the versions of himself that he played on Nathan for You and The Rehearsal, here he has to play a greater range of emotions, and it never comes off as goofy or exaggerated like you might expect from a…
All I want is a 200 page instruction manual hand-written by Elminster and Volo.
First I purchased on GOG, then again to play on my steamdeck, then again to eventually platinum on the PS5 and now finally again knowing full well it’s only to put that box on my bookshelf.
At what point do I admit I’m addicted?
