Wait, so Bea is a child, has an adult IF, but can’t remember that it’s her imaginary friend even though that only happens to adults? Or is she an adult this whole time imagining herself as a child? I’m confused lol.

“...because it’s so raw and wriggling...”
Gonna have to see this on the best IMAX screen near me, even though it’s 45 minutes away.
Yeah, I meant “a” lol whoops.
I’d watch Kathryn Hahn in just about anything but I have no idea (and very little interest in) how this show is going to turn out. And that title is terrible, I feel like it’s missing a “the” or “an”.
Bictory so nice, they misspelled it twice!
Really want to see The Fall Guy, hopefully I’ll get a chance before they yank it from the theaters. Wish they’d go back to letting movies stay in theaters for a solid 3-4 months (or longer if it’s doing really well) before dropping a blu-ray around 6-9 months post theater release.
Rest in Peace, he was a magnificent actor.
Both what they are saying and the idea of superhero-fatigue can be (and are) true. Attention spans are shorter, the need for instant gratification is higher (thanks social media and phones!) but also, Marvel kept shoveling shit out instead of taking a 5 year break after Endgame to plot out a good, new era that felt…
Barry Jenkins is phenomenal but I have zero interest in seeing this in theaters...but if the kids see a trailer and beg me, that’ll be a different story.
No, you’re right. He almost died and they did the whole “let’s just say he’s dead and let him heal and be off-the-grid until we need him for the sequel” type dealio.
The first one was okay enough but I genuinely enjoyed the second one to the point that I hope we get to the Tyler Rake in Space Extraction sequel in 10 years.
I didn’t even know the newer episodes were on Disney+, need to check those out. Our 4 year old loves Bluey but he’d watched everything available what feels like 12 times so we’re kinda over seeing the same ones.
But at least they didn’t give a grand entrance to the trash compactor alien, have it spit out some vague dialogue that clearly shows the character is meant to be an established figure with a connection to one of the main characters and layers of depth to them that honestly rival the main characters, then kill it off…
That’s true. But those will just be even longer and with unnecessary gore and nudity...so idk lol
So...maybe just skip to the last 30 minutes or so? I don’t know if I can, or want to, sit through 2 hours of this.
I can’t wait to watch this with my son, it totally seems like the right tone for his age.
Aside from the animated shows, my favorite lightsaber fights are actually the duels from The Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back. Third would be the last 20-30 minutes of Revenge of the Sith. That was really great and still holds up imo.
I do miss the weekly release model, but some stuff is okay to binge. Also, I feel like some shows are written with the thought that people will binge them. If those shows did weekly releases, people might be more pissed because the show isn’t written to flow week to week, just as a big binge. I’d prefer stuff written…
I am sad. Was hoping this would go on for like 10 seasons, but that really isn’t feasible in this day and age. It’s definitely my favorite of the new Trek shows, but it’s also one that is very re-watchable. Here’s to hoping out goes out well!
