Fucking hell, we get that you liked The Last Jedi. “with one specific exception” in your opinion lmao. I just knew it had to link to Rogue One but nah.

Pedro Pascal is talented but...I was really hoping those rumors turned out false. I don’t see him as Reed whatsoever. I could see him playing Victor, though.
Thanks for putting this on my radar, it looks pretty amazing.
This is so depressingly hilarious. Or, hilariously depressing? Or just, depressing, and hilarious.
Exclusivity has produced some of my favorite gaming franchises, but I think it needs to die. I’m fine with limited exclusivity, though. Only being able to play Sony’s new game on an actual Playstation for a couple months or a year then getting it on PC and other consoles would be a fine trade-off, I think. As long as…
Joel is simple as fuck. Grumpy guy who lost a lot, got good at killing, found something to live for and got killed. Pretty standard character, honestly. I agree, I love Joel, but dude was not very complex or interesting outside of understanding how he got to be so grumpy and then seeing him finally let down his walls…
All of them (that I’ve seen). But every time he showed up on Arrested Development was a treat. He was one of my favorite characters in the entire show lol. He was great as Greef as well.
fucking sucks. rest in peace.
I have yet to watch the first but it seems weird that to promote the new season they’ve mostly gone the route of taking a dump on the previous. I’m still going to give it a shot; visually it looked pretty great at the very least.
Man, was hoping this would’ve been in theaters. My son really wants to go see something but there aren’t many kids movies out that I think he’d enjoy. This is probably a little much for him anyways, but I’ll definitely be watching at home with him and my daughter, it sounds pretty great. Maybe I’ll get the book for…
That’s not Sasha Calle!
*face*fucking them first.
I could’ve gotten behind a live-action adaptation of those more-so than another live-action remake of a beloved show that really works better in animation anyway. It looks good, though, and my daughter got super into the OG show and Korra so we’ll definitely be watching it regardless.
I agree with a lot of what you’re saying, but also I think that was the intent to a degree. It is a feminist movie by men, and I think that was reflected in a lot of it. I think the “Poor Things” in the title actually refer to every male character. Each embodied a part of the patriarchy in a way and it just hit for…
I could type out several paragraphs, but basically:
You are right, they don’t even deserve a chance to fail again lol. Well said.
I watched both within a week and felt like Poor Things had a much more resounding message and theme than Barbie. And that Emma Stone killed it in regards to her performance. All that to say, to each their own.
Honestly, the film was fun and all that but I kinda forgot it afterwards. Coincidentally, the characters that I remember the most were Gosling’s and Ferrera’s, as they both brought a lot to the film. Margot Robbie is great, but they did make a huge, central plot of the movie about Ken discovering the patriarchy and…
I hope these people continue to fail, because blaming anyone but themselves for that trash they put out and the resulting dumpster fire that ensued is insane.
Sounds like it’s at least worth a watch. Need to get my Shudder subscription back!
