Damnit, these are slideshows now too?

I don’t like what that Ubisoft Exec said either, so I’ll buy the physical PS5 version of this and actually own the game, forever. I get people that want to pirate it based off of what the guy said, but the developers just wanted to make a good game, and it looks like they did, so I’m going to support them. Fuck that

I’ve played through the first one at least three times now and have enjoyed it each time.

Reads headline.

Just for the sake of a counterpoint:

Random, but is anyone else getting the thing where you load a page, it turns white for a few seconds, then pops back up at the top?

Yeah, I loved that game. Going to replay it and the first Spider-Man before I get the newest one. But that’s all I want in film form.

I mentioned to my friends that I wish we could get a purely Miles-centric story after this trilogy closed and they looked at me kinda crazy. I think Miles is a great character and would love to see a story about him being Spider-Man without all the multiverse shenanigans, but maybe I’m in the immense minority with

...for a short film.

I forgot about Evil, I love that show. Glad it’s coming back!

I tried to re-watch the first, to see if there was something I was missing, but no, it’s just bad. Even the writing is so, so dumb and inconsistent, I’m confused as to how some stuff made it into the final edit.

I get they want to make money but sheesh. I would’ve paid for single-player DLC, meanwhile I haven’t spent more than 3 hours in GTA Online since its release...just over a DECADE AGO. I’m still holding out hope for a new Undead Nightmare style single-player DLC.

The actors in Rebel Moon have done good stuff, so I blame the script and direction. Me and my friends kept wondering where the hell Djimon Hounsou went after they picked him up. Gave that man next to nothing to do, even when compared to the other people they picked up, who also did basically nothing.

Chronicles of Riddick was at least fun and had some neat spins on sci-fi tropes. Rebel Moon is like, no fun and has no real spin on the pre-existing ideas/plot points/story structure/character types it lifts from other places. I hope you and your Mom can find some enjoyment out of it, though!

It’s more “extended” in the sense that, it was completely unnecessary to show as much as they did, or have it go on as long as it did. Some screams from off-screen and the hero showing up is all that was needed, but it felt like it dragged on for fucking ever.

It’s definitely implied thoroughly enough that it basically can count as one. The screams and pleas from the victim, the laughs from attackers, the assault...My partner is a survivor of sexual assault and was frozen and near tears due to how distressing it all was. That entire sequence (and even the earlier parts

Apparently, it’s because Charlie Hunnam just wanted the character to sound that way.

I almost turned it off at the extended sexual assault scene involving a teenager. I really, really wish I did, but at least I already forgot most of everything else.

I mean...have you seen Andor? Not necessarily “grimdark”, but definitely leaning that way compared to the other Star Wars properties. It’s also my favorite thing Star Wars has done since...the nostalgia The Force Awakens gave me?

Easily T’Chia and BG3. Special shout out to Armored Core 6 and No Man’s Sky as well.
