Taxes are like a dirty bomb. No one is safe. People will move to escape the radiation but the next bomb is dropped. You can tax the top but they will trickle that down to the shoulders of the middle class.

All of these businesses poison the planet. Some less than others. Some in other ways. Batteries are inherently bad bad bad.

ABSOLUTELY! Imagine if this idea was brought down to the lowest level of commerce. Taxing McDonalds to fund ChikFilA. Taxing hard copy book manufacturers to fund e-books. Taxing meat producers to fund Soy. The list could go on and on and on.
