I’m partial to this variation myself

i never understood why you americans never adopted something like this for commercial use:

Many of the truck mfrs are involved in towing wars. Higher towing limits require larger brakes, which require larger wheels. To maintain some semblance of ride quality, they need a lot of tire sidewall, which results in huge wheel/tire combos. To make that look right, they meed larger body panels.

The new Rampage is supposed to be 198" L, 72" W, 70" H.

Their egos.

My biggest complaint about these mongo trucks in front of me is that I cannot see what’s in front of them or how close they’re following (which speaks to my stopping distance - I allow more if the car ahead of me is tailgating etc.). My actual biggest complaint is when they tailgate me.

And people won’t be able to see my Punisher skull, Trump, Snek, NRA, and CopSucker decals if it’s not up high enough.

Stop talking about these small trucks! We need everyone to forget these exist! Please, everyone… go out and buy that mega macho F450 with a 12” lift and armor plating.

Best term I have heard for them is “Emotional Support Trucks”. Let’s make it stick and maybe at least a couple of guys will be shamed enough by it to not buy them.

They’ve essentially reinvented themselves as just a larger three-box sedan by this point.

The best way to do that is to lift the truck up even further with aftermarket parts, so your headlight beams are level with the windshield of the average crossover. Since the front and rear windshields are transparent, the light will shine through them and you’ll be able to see further ahead than if your lights were

Which is what makes it painfully ironic that the Ford CEO said the Cybertruck wasn’t for people who actually use trucks. Well, Jim, neither is the current F150 (or Silverado, or Sierra, or Ram).

But.. I need to be able to see over traffic. If I cant, i don’t feel like I am in control of the road. And If i dont have the biggest possible truck how will anyone possibly respect me as a person?

Now playing

Enthusia was great! I still have my copy on the shelf just above my desk.

I think it’s worth it just because of the looks. The Civic Type R looks way too fast and furious for anyone approaching my age, and the Acura is just so much more subtle. It’s a low rent version of paying a premium for a mechanically identical GT3 Touring because you don’t want to be seen with the giant wing on the

It’s already one of the best things Honda has ever done, and were I able to afford it right now, I’d 100% have a deposit in already. Yes, it’s a large premium to pay over a Type R, but I can tell you that having Type R levels of performance + more luxury features in a package that looks somewhat subtle is the

I’m aware. Everything they’ve done for nearly a decade has been a very specific kind of thing, so my concern was that they’d continue that trend within this IP. And it does sound like there are some influences, but structurally it is its own thing.

I have been waiting 10 years for a new Armored Core. I couldn’t be more excited to get my hands on this.

Can’t wait to use my thrusters to dash down memory lane with Armored Core.

While I’m always excited for another game in the Hyper Light Drifter universe, I have to admit I would much rather them make a follow up that uses the art and game style from the original game. Why has every follow up been 3D so far?
