How the fuck are you people able to be cynical even about a game like this? For fuck’s sake.

Heaven forbid a video game be a game. Like wtf is turns into gamey gametown? That’s like saying “Citizen Kane was great but then it descends into filmy filmtown.” Yeah, that’s what it is.
Speaking of games where you control an animal. Bring back, Dog’s Life. Remastered or a sequel. Jake deserves it. It needs ray tracing lol
Hey, you’re right! It only comes up once as part of the word “fundamentally.”
I stopped reading after “and got into a good collage.” :)
How much drag does a rear wiper really introduce? For that amount, they were willing to make the back window effectively useless at under 50mph in weather? Or do they just count on the average driver not even looking out the back window?
It went to collage? Are you saying it went to art school?
Not really a fan of the damselfly larvae look the top side of the back has, but I suppose they couldn’t get the active aero flaps at the trailing to work properly if they were flat planes. That said, for the rest of the engine cover and especially the main chainnel, few straight lines coming to a sort of bulbous point…
Burnout 3: Takedown needs a remaster. Many a good time was spent drinkin’ and trying to beat each other’s high score crashes.
For the most part I agree. The one exception is the new Sport Classic. I would kill for that car.
I think most people who put their names down for these are speculators looking to flip it on Bring a Trailer as soon as they take delivery.
Same. Ironically, the only ones I find remotely interesting are the base Carrera and Carrera S. The Turbos are boring, and even the GT3 elicits no enthusiasm from me. I think I stopped caring about Porsche when the 997 came around, because that’s really when the model bloat started.
Unlocks are a pretty ancient model, and inoffensive. They became much more common after the Xbox 360 (and online gaming/achievements in general), but they’ve been around since games had save states.
Or, maybe, we could wean ourselves off of a game model that has stuff locked away. I never feel rewarded when I unlock something--just resentful I had my gameplay reduced to a chore to get something that should have been there from the beginning.
Probably meant to say Kashyyk. They both have a rainforesty vibe.
Definitely agree. But if they are gonna give us useless cosmetic unlocks, I’d rather it be like pieces of armor or outfits you can mix and match instead just the dumb old ponchos they gave us last game.
it originally seemed like a decent-ish character action game cribbing from the beloved Souls games and starring the average-looking Cal Kestis.
This is one of the few evergreen Star Wars takes I fully support.
Probably for the best that it doesn’t bring in familiar faces. Makes that galaxy far, far away seem pretty damn small when everything revolves around the same handful of characters.
