380hp out of a 2 liter engine. moly.

i’m in. how many of these cars can i get for $30k?

380hp has to move 4,000 lbs. gotta look at the power to weight ratio.  A golf R is about 500 lbs. lighter.

0-62 in 4.9s from 380 hp? That seems... well, not slow, but not as quick as one would expect? E.g. a Golf R can beat that with quite a bit less power?

I had the CR-Z with the 6-speed, and the manual definitely made it a lot more fun.  Still not a performance hatch - but quick, agile, and interesting.  I think it gets a lot of undeserved hate.  It was a compromise in a lot of ways - but Honda really brought something unique to the market with that car.

It was marketed as both:

Was the CRZ even supposed to be a performance car? I thought it was the replacement to the Insight, a decidedly un-fun, but still kinda quirky and cool car, like the CRZ.

I had a CRZ as my first car. Yes, it needed at least a DOHC V-TEC mill and yes, the CVT robbed all the fun and yes, for a hybrid the mileage was not much better than other, non-hybrid hatches but, to my at the time, inexperienced teenage self, it handled like a dream and I loved being the only person with one in my

Could you please check out the suggestions before you post your slide shows. The Fiesta ST and the ST-Line were two entirely different variants. The Fiesta ST was the same “amazing little go kart of death” it always had been. The ST-Line was a trim package without the performance upgrades, a very common offering in

Holy shit, I don’t think I’ve ever gone from hyped to disappointment faster than with the headline and sub-headline of this article...

Thing is, OnePlus used to be flagship power (or very close to it) at mid-range price. That doesn’t really exist anywhere anymore.

What isn’t so funny is that Toyota seems genuinely interested in making at least some enthusiast-focused cars, but decided to work with Subaru and BMW on them instead of Mazda. They could have had a GR86/RX-7 pair and a GR Corolla/Speed3 pair. The RX Vision could have become a higher-end model to pair with the Supra.

Agreed. Every car is fast now so there isn’t much point to dick waggling. It is about the expreience.

Agreed. As an owner of 2011 WRX hatch, it’s not super fast in a straight line, but it handles like a champ. Throw in some snow (with snow tires) and it’s at home.

You want to embarrass owners of fine, exotic automobiles.

So I can either get a Samsung S22 for $800, or pay $100 more for the OnePlus 10Pro? Both with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage? The OP has a larger battery and more impressive camera specs, but I can get a S22 with 256GB of storage for still $50 less than the OnePlus.

I don’t think I’ve come across a single review of the Quadrifoglio where the reviewer wasn't absolutely blown away by the car's capabilities.

I was very close to buying a Quadrifoglio about a year ago and ended up with an M3 instead. The Alfa drove better and looked better, and reliability wasn’t a big concern for me since it’s a weekend car (daily the cheap two seater, road trip the big sedan), but lack of a manual just kills it for my use case.

What about the TL?! A clean second gen is still a great looking car today, especially in Type S guise.

I think this fits the bill
