This was my worry when games started going digital. If one day we can’t access games because the digital storefront will be shut down, then we aren’t buying a game. We are buying a *subscription* to a game, which will end once the publisher or store owner decides it will, without warning.

This is what we need more of. When a core game is this good, all we need is more content. It feels just as current today as it did at launch on Switch. Not to mention, what else could a newer game add? The graphics are easily good enough for the gameplay and look great at times. The gameplay itself has been finessed

I don’t know how this is happening in this age of rushing to electrification, but I love it.

Reminds me of California “switching” (read: forcing the population to convert) to green energy at a drastic pace, down to gas-powered weed whackers; meanwhile they pipe in a very significant amount of non-green energy from other states, including coal-burning plants. In a state that already can’t keep up with it’s

I recently found a YouTube channel that uploads clips of gorgeous games, and drive club was featured recently. As I was an Xbox guy not a PS guy I remember sadly watching while this came out but never getting to even play a demo. It really is gorgeous.

Yah... It’s got a flat ass. But they at least gave it a great nose job on the type-S (which it desperately needed). To the point where weight and lack of manual are the only things keeping it off my dream list.

I mean, quantifiably better, but not cool factor better, and can’t replicate the same driving experience. Especially not without a manual! The 3rd pedal and shifter lever are two important points of contact with the car that give it a unique character.

Look, I can appreciate that the game is free to play. They have to make money somewhere. But the prices are exorbitant. And in the current model, unless you spend money, there is little outside of the core gameplay quality to keep me coming back. I remember in Reach that I was always working towards unlocking that

I for one do not think of a “slavemaster” when I hear the terms “master bedroom” or “slave cylinder,” nor does  “blacklist” bring race to mind (sorry, but ink is black and paper is white). And I honestly don’t think anyone else does, either! Not in modern times. At some point these words really are just that... words.

I think we all know smoking kills at this point.

See I’m torn. Part of me likes this goofy stuff. But also part of me likes the cool sci-fi action setting, and this absolutely takes away from any immersion. No one is spray painting their AR bright pink, or putting animated character keychains on guns. Maybe like one crazy soldier in the unit.

Nah Kinja gotta get right to spinning people up

It’s amazing what the inclusion or exclusion of a single identifying factor in a headline will do. That’s how you make it about race, when it may or may not have been in the first place. This is the kind of shit our country needs to realize: we aren’t getting past “racism” until we stop making everything an issue of

The BMW thing used to bother me, but the toyobaru twins are a great example of this working. So I am over that. IF it’s a necessity to allow these cars to exist.

Retro done perfectly

Hyper Light remains my favorite game of all time, despite my lack of experience in the genre. Super cool to see it realized out of pixel art in this way!

The only thing I can’t accept about the supra is the styling. I’m ok with it being mostly BMW and not very Toyota-esque, I’m ok with the powertrain options, etc. But I can’t wrap my head around some styling points— e.g., the way the back all sort of tapers together from the rear view. But the worst offenders are in

I watched Bebop about a year ago for the first time and *loved* the style, felt something for most of the characters, and liked the concept. But, a lot of things didn’t sit as well with me. The writing and pacing could be a bit off, and some of the characters I didn’t feel much for at all. But I can totally see why it

Between safety regs, lack of market for new car 2-door sales, emissions regs... I'd say we'll never see it again. All I want is corporate design language to go away, get rid of that damn grille and make a good looking car instead

I’m not even a huge fan of the old Integra, but at least it looked distinct and not like a Civic. The quad headlights and other details made it stand out, even though it wasn’t gorgeous.
