I know Pagani styling is a bit... unique... But I think the curves of the Huayra are some of the best in the business. The inside is a bit busy, and some of the styling details are somewhat eccentric, but that overall shape is incredible. Easily my favorite mid-engine car from this decade.

I would like a job at your office please.

My best friend drives one of these. Through a couple years I have grown to love it and I would take this over a generic 4dr Wrangler any day! Here’s why:

Excellent pick but it’s hard to quantify the sex factor that comes with an Aston and I think the 911 lacks it. Great all-around car for sure but the Aston oozes class and sex whereas a 911 gives off very clean, purposeful, German power vibes.

You have to make a distinction though. While the R8 also screams 00s to me, as it was a huge deal when it came out, I think it was so unique in it’s styling that it does not actually seem like a car from that era when you look at it and try to be unbiased.

Maybe they desperately needed the donor car to be Italian!

My god yes. I hated being in that thing. It did feel like a dungeon. It felt like the car was trying way too hard to make you look cool, like a caricature of it’s former glory. Visibility was zero and it was so dark and cramped.

And just the other day someone was shitting on the Lotus Evora for getting stale after like twelve years. Get outta here, at least they’ve bumped the power up by like 200 ponies. And from what I hear, you can’t really improve on that handling— if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I just started giving the evora the time of day a few years ago and it has become my someday-obtainable dream car. Love the styling, simplicity, handling, analog nature, reliability from the Toyota engine, and supercharged V-6 grunt. I want it desperately

Yep. And it’s the reason most modern cars are darker, more claustrophobic, less happy places than cars of yore.

I don’t mind anyone who is fighting for change. But my “SJW” hate is reserved for the super loudmouth, in everyone’s face, “all men are evil sexist pigs,” red-faced screaming types who raise red flags at almost everything. The people who believe it is their right to not be offended, can’t take a joke, and go out of

It’s true. And that’s because there are fewer people clamoring for them.

Longtime fan since High Stakes III.

What are your thoughts on the mk6 looks? I loved my mk6 gti and i think it’s the prettiest overall shaped golf but I like some of the details on the mk8

No price on any collector car is rational, though. Rarity, demand, and nostalgia set the number! There will always be people who will pay a little more to have that styling, lightweight, simplicity, whatever it is that appeals.

Exclusivity. Subjective opinions on styling. Handling, small size, and light weight vs loads of power and 0-60 times. Steering feel and driver engagement. Reliable Camry engine. Supercharged joy. No unnecessary tech, a true focus on driving.

The Evija is how Lotus is keeping fans confident that they are going to remain a driver’s car company. A lot of companies say that (bimmer), but Lotus has my faith that they will always offer a true sports car that remains solely focused on driving and makes few compromises. Even the Evora, the restrained/livable

Yes it is but the first never made any claims to have substance... It was a cheesy as hell flick. This looks like it will at the very least be a ton of awesome jet action!

Because climbing in rank means you basically become a politician and never get to fly. But even all the additional duties pilots have to face these days means less flying and more desk time. I hope they address this actually.

For people who have two cars, families to drive around, daily utility needs? Sure. But even then, as a car person, I’d prefer an engaging car over a bland luxury thing. I can see the appeal of a big car if you need to move a family or something, but I’d still rather have a sedan or wagon for that. No need for extra
