I don’t mind when people pick Hanzo if he fits into the team comp.

To take your point further:

In the same way that phone manufacturers insist on 3 sizes of one phone that differ by 0.3in, consumers are still going to see a totally different platform with different draws. It’s also much smaller than the Switch tablet and where we talk portability, it’s an especially big difference.

I don’t see this at all. That was a big crappy bulbous barge. The merc has excellent proportions. I love the aggressive grille overhanging the splitter, and the short rear deck like the Giulia. The design overall is simpler but I think that’s a trend that cars need right now. I wouldn’t go so far as to compare it to

Haven’t played it yet, but I’m kind of concerned people are holding the OT up too high. I replayed it last year and I did note that there were a lot of lines and scenes that were bland, fell flat, or were just plain shitty. However, back then, we managed to push all that aside and enjoy the shit out of the games

This has been sitting on my Steam wishlist forever, along with Vector Thrust.

Yeah, the age-old question! I love my GTI to death but I have to wonder just how much better an R is. Or, rather, if it’s 15k better. I’m curious to see what you have to say.

Wildlands isn’t trying to make a statement. It’s just a pulpy, over the top action shooter that is only based in realism for coolness’ sake. It takes itself seriously, but only to the point that it allows the player to feel like they are being tactical or sneaky or whatever. The bosses are a clear example of this-

There’s plenty of room for dickery with friends. I’m having a blast playing co-op and have no interest in single player.

Real Estate are one of my faves. I somehow missed this song’s release and the announcement of the upcoming album. What joy I felt upon googling this album!

Just happened with me.

This game is a blast IF

I thought it was bad at first and I still don’t fully understand it but I’m pretty good at flying now. Think of it as two modes- cruise and takeoff. To turn at takeoff means it will rudder you sideways, but at cruise it will roll you and you need to pull back, like a plane.

It’s an absolute blast on Co-op.

Also reminds me of HyperSonic Xtreme (HSX) back on the PS2. What a game! It had a similar track editor where you could twist it into impossible shapes, and you could get disconnected from the track if you made it too much of a negative-G pushover. So much fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjC0Bh0rWyg

Hyper Light Drifter used retro-future influence perfectly.

A guy tailgated me for five minutes in heavy traffic on the interstate. He eventually made an aggressive pass and blew past me, swerving back into the space in front of me just inches off the next car’s rear and almost taking off my front bumper in the process.

Mk6 owner here. Car is glorious and does literally everything well. No maintenance issues. Even stock it’s as quick as you could want. Great utility with the hatch. Surprising amount of room even with 4 people. Fun handling that feels like AWD thanks to a fancy system that brakes the inside rear wheel for weight

I like the lines but not the shapes if that makes sense. They have some cool curves but also some really weird cutouts and things like that grille and headlights that seem overdesigned and unnecessarily complex.

Used to love love love the 360, now it just screams late 90s/ early 00s
