AC is one of my favorite series. 6 felt like a polished, refined Ace Combat, but I felt it lost a little character in the process. I still love it, though. The High-G turns added a lot to the actual gameplay, it was gorgeous, and had a cool (if sometimes annoying) story arc.

Dog’s Life was so much fun! I always forget that it existed, but get all nostalgic when I see it mentioned.

This really is big news. The ME subreddit is flippin’ out about it. ME is still one of my favorite games too, and the soundtrack really was huge for the game’s atmosphere.

New SSPU is pretty damn good. Every album, they seem to change so much and yet they are still 100% SSPU. I love em.

Oh, duh. I need to work on my word-reading abilities. I probably saw Gigi Galli and my brain made connections to standard rally.

I’m still getting into motorsport in general, can I get a question answered? I don’t really understand the classes and tiers of the WRC. Will this be at the pro level, competing with VW, Ford, and co., or will Galli be competing in a pro-am class or something?

What, the Passat?

Well then Meester Doug, as a Golf owner since 2012 who recently upgraded to a GTI, what are your thoughts on the petroleum-powered Golf family? The recent Golf lines actually have pretty damn good reliability from what I understand and I have had zero problems with mine. They seem well built, well engineered,

My issue is partly that I am a completionist. I will make sure to check every corner for loot and complete almost every side quest in an RPG.

Did Quattro save him?

The fact that we are getting this in the US makes me unreasonably happy. We never get this kind of fun stuff anymore!

The amount of trains on this list makes the kid in me SO HAPPY

I love rally but I’m still new to the actual rules of the sport. So, during the recce, the road is still open to traffic?

I agree.

golf ball shifter has returned

I’d actually go further and apply this to the American market too. There are obviously several outliers on both sides, but American cars also mostly look pretty bland these days except Ford/Mazda. Europe, in my opinion, is doing pretty nicely on good-looking cars these days, between VW and Euro-Ford.

MGS4 was the first and only game of the series I played— SO FUN. On so many levels. Gunplay was wonky at first but with playing became fine. Never figured out the close quarters combat stuff. Graphics were amazing especially for the time. The story was convoluted as hell but I still felt a lot of feels at the end.

I’m all about this color dots stuff it looks so good

I’m just glad with every piece of news about it, knowing that it hasn’t dropped off the radar. I was pulled in by the art style, the world, and the music. The gameplay looks awesome, but challenging: I haven’t ever really played a game like this, and it seems like it will require a lot of skill

Was waiting for flame tracks to be left on the tarmac... huge missed opportunity but still awesome
