i agree with a lot of what you're saying which is exactly why i haven't bought BF4 yet. BF3 was really cool, but still riddled with glitches and graphical errors, and the hit detection made it feel like i couldn't hit anything, so i ended up putting it down after a while and haven't picked it up since. BF4 seems

you're missing my point. imo the arcade shooter series has gotten quite bland, repetitive, and based around the same gameplay. all i'm saying is that mechs and parkour in a twitch-style arcade shooter makes for a unique twist on the genre and maybe this will provide something different

i know they are quite different games, hardly in the same genre, but arguably battlefield offers a much greater diversity of experiences and playstyles

exactly. what makes battlefield a better game than cod is how much more you can do and how many different ways you can play. in cod, yeah you can put different guns and perks on your class, but in BF it determines how you play. plus, it's more than just different ways of shooting people. you have to deal with vehicles

play the video and then scroll down and watch this gif

this game would be lame and another cod, except for mechs and parkour. however, those could be two ingredients that make cod/twitch shooters fun again

i'm just a fan of bungie's design, and the feel of the shooting in the halo series. yes, the graphics aren't "unique" like borderlands' cel-shading, but the design of the environments and stuff rocks.

the three steam games i have my eye on:

i've always loved the burnout series, since burnout 3 i've played em all. I thought new hot pursuit ended up doing a good job combining the feel of both series, but most wanted had a shitty feel that didn't feel burnout or nfs.

well i guarantee it will be a paid DLC later on.... fucking ea

i haven't played the run! i played the demo for like two minutes and uninstalled because it felt like an on-rails racer or something. not a fan really

i thought that was pretty badass too actually, forgot that. i'm just playing through it again for like the 4th time probably, and for some reason feel pretty attached to shamrock this time around

are there any nissan models in the game? just curious. how does it compare to the rest of the series? i'm a longtime player, every game since High Stakes III on PC in like 1927

how is the game in relation to the rest of the franchise? Does it handle like [newer] Most Wanted? Or like [newer] Hot Pursuit? Because I hated new HP's handling so much in the demo i almost didn't buy it, but it really ended up growing on me. New MW's handling started shitty and stayed shitty for me, I never felt

Now playing

Many of my most emotional gaming experiences have been mentioned already: Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Mass Effect series, MGS4...

halo 4... cortana scene near the end. reach was rough, but that scene in halo 4 was like "bite the pillow, i'm going in dry, and i used barbed wire to attach razor blades to my penis"

you know, halo has always had a cool story, but it never actually hit me in the feels until this scene. it recently came up somewhere on the internet and i watched it again and got the sniffles just from watching this scene alone. feeeeeeeeeels

when i thought my character died... i was full of feels. i put down the controller and crossed my arms and was like, "no... no.... noooooo..."

agro. best pony.
