Nothing on the show is too explicit to seem like it's ignoring censors and nothing is crazy gory or viscerally bloody. It's more about how emotionally wrenching it is to watch another human go through that. But there are plenty of episodes that aren't focused on the lead character's assault.
The warning at the beginning of specific episodes will let you know when to brace for the worst, but everything that's hard to watch is a flashback, so it's not like it explicitly crops up every episode.
