And it was pretty good!
And it was pretty good!
I love that the show is still able to get so creative with the storytelling, even in the final season. I kept waiting to see how the film kids would relate to our regular leads, and I was not at all disappointed by the connection: it was perfect that Gretchen had her “character” become a successful director, and Jimmy…
I saw that comment and almost responded with the exact same clip.
“I wanna lock you in a basement with soundproof walls and take over your identity!”
You should consider following up Mort with Hogfather – it’s both another great story about the Death character, and it’s seasonally appropriate!
Definitely, and I would love if the comic book they describe in the novel could be made for real.
I’m midway through The Sound and the Fury right now – the descriptions are beautiful, but it is DEEPLY confusing, enough so that I feel like I need to read it in a classroom setting with discussions and analysis to better understand what the hell’s going on.
I’m too far to stop now, though!
I loved those – that whole white museum “setting” for the episodes was such a clever framing device.
No, I definitely thought through the first half of the show that Hollyhock would turn out to be Princess Carolyn’s kid that she gave up way back when she was still working for Marv.
This is just a test of the emergency broadcast system.
I'm glad we hit another big number before the Kinjapocalypse.
Hopefully it's because it's being moved to Netflix or something, but what terrible timing!
Counterpoint: Erin Brockovich is fantastic.
(And not just because of the Thomas Newman score, or because it was the first R rated movie I ever saw in a theater.)
It sounds like you managed to see a lot of other cool stuff, though!
Hey, at least those are currently running shows! Almost everything I saw fit the branding of "Let's pretend it's 1997 again through science or magic".
Oh bummer – I went there last July and they still did, (which surprised me) but I guess they needed to make even more room for Seinfeld shirts.
Did you happen to notice if the NBC store still carries Community merch?
At this point in the show, even with addition of Gilly Jakes, episodes without Summer or Beth are just not as good.
That show was great, I wish it had continued.
Isn't he busy working on the second season of American Gods?
Do you think they also reduce the number of people who can have a job at your theater?
