This pisses me off so much. Birth control is prescribed for so many conditions (primarily because so little attention is paid to women’s health by the medical research profession that it’s still the best option for a lot of conditions that modern medicine shrugs its shoulders at and says, “Eh, it’s probably a

Beer was basically safe to drink water. It definitely contained alcohol, but since it was brewed to drink pretty much at once, a much lower level of it than modern brews.

Yes! I came to state this, but didn’t have the fancy chart. A lot of people drank all day, every day, either high or low levels and it was what it was. I think people drink now but it’s usually in social settings or at home at the end of the day, not swilling the ale with breakfast or sipping cocktails in the office.

I’d say martini glasses have increased significantly too - even since the 1960s. Any time my $14 martini is poured in anything smaller than a cup I need to use both hands to lift I get irritated. If I’m paying that much for a drink it better be a one and done type situation.

Wait, Mortal. I know you’re an old soul but can you vouch for coffee cups in the eighteenth century?

I can confirm, because whenever I watch Poldark, I’m often distracted by how tiny the wine glasses are, and distracting me away from Aidan Turner is no mean feat.

I feel kind of left out, Hachi.

IKR??

Absolutely! This is important if you set up a date with someone and they end up cancelling. Even though you may feel slighted, be graceful, tell them you understand, and keep an open invitation. If they’re doing it for dishonest reasons, they’ll be the one looking like a shit person, not you. This will also create the

And I’ll hear female friends of mine express a desire to just get a drink somewhere, but don’t because they don’t want to have to deal with someone trying to talk to them.

Do you get love letters? We need to balance out the shenanigans. I love sexy Monique. And Michael you’re cute too. I miss Michael A., I need to read his posts more. I love talking to Breanna, Angela and Yesha in the comments and I fangirl when I get a reply from one of them. Danielle’s videos make me laugh, her smile

No. No, no, no, no, no, no. NO. Every time we place arbitrary limits on when/where/in what situations it’s okay to be HUMAN, we miss the point of this entire discussion. People/women/men/whatever are never inherently opposed to meeting other people/potential partners.

Thank you, Dr. Walker. Thank you.

Everybody has a price. My wife and I used a community bank for years, partly because of the great customer service, but also because the owner of the bank said repeatedly, and publicly, that he would never sell to a big bank. Guess what? 5/3 made him an offer he couldn’t refuse and he took the money and ran.

From the title, I thought this post was going to be about six cliched white-girl characters found in movies and TV.

Even though your writing was great, I struggled to make it through this article because there was sooo much white female mediocrity. I read the headline and thought I was ready.

Also in Philly, mind sharing the name of this startup?

I’m in Philly too! Who are they? Verizon and Comcast are both sentient garbage

It’s deep in the heart of Amway country. Protesting would be met with police violence and all the tubby Calvinists sitting in their LazyBoys would nod sagely about “those people” deserving to be gassed and beat down.

“None of the officers have been placed on administrative leave”.
