Choosing to stand out doesn’t reflect poor judgement, and $30,000 jobs can provide for someone, and yes, that might include an Audi. Maybe that person in a $30,000 has a SO with a $100,000 job and they share an Audi. Maybe they’ve always wanted an Audi and saved up to get one. Maybe they were making $100,000 and took

True true, good point.

I do not understand U.S. sentencing. A man rapes a woman: 2 years probation! Doesn’t have to register as a sexual offender. A man shares pornography OF BABIES and young girls and judge is iffy on felony or not.

Oh come on, I’m SURE they recycled.

Guys who want to fuck virgins want to fuck women who won’t acknowledge how terrible they are at sex, so virgins are ideal because they don’t know what they’re doing, either. They pretend it’s purity and all that blah blah patriarchy stuff, but my theory is they got their fee-fees hurt by a woman who knew what she was

I went into a rage, as I grew up in the Dayton area, but luckily UD has decided this dick breather will not be attending in the fall.

I can see why this story, being awful, would upset you. No harm done (by your comment.)

I have a coworker who would be perfect.

I don’t know if all of them are, but the one I dealt with definitely was a PPA cab. I only take a cab as a last resort.

I actually am in Philly, and most of the cabs with the 215-get-a-cab are actually managed by the PPA, which is what I was routed through. I called that number and was sent to the PPA.

After re-reading my comment I can see how you read it the way you did. The scare quotes were meant as a “this shit didn’t actually happen deal” sort of deal.

Several things. I got in and it reeked of pot, it was shaking a lot more than a well maintained car should, and to top it off the driver said “I’m going to stop for gas on the way.” I said I wasn’t comfortable with that and he tried to argue with me. So I told him to stop and hopped out.

I don’t completely disagree with you, but as someone who has tried to pursue a complaint against a taxi driver (in the U.S.) I find that they are no better.

It’s possible, but it’s a hell of a lot more likely he raped them.

I obviously wasn’t clear. I was simply showing that just because you have to put a credit card into an app to call a ride, doesn’t mean you are immediately or automatically charged. That it’s possible to call a ride and cancel it when the driver arrives. I was in no way saying they weren’t raped, or offering “scare

The money isn’t debited until after the ride is complete. they may have worked out a “deal” when the driver arrived. All you would have to do is cancel the ride, and proceed.

Definitely compared to 6, 8, 12 years ago. But the last summer games was 2102! Obama was president almost twice! Twitter was alive and well! It’s just fascinating to me the difference a few years makes.

Was it this bad at previous Olympics? I feel like Twitter was definitely a thing 4 years ago, but I don’t remember the covering being this... Pathetic.

One of the things I’ve been working on for myself is owning the hard work I do. Instead of downplaying a compliment, I respond with a “thank you, I worked very hard on this.” It feels so good!

I always equated cockiness with some lack of truth, so this is a perfect example.
