Yep, I actually find that more troubling. I think the above image is just some troll. I just posted it to show disgusting trolls aren’t only coming from Bernie’s side.

To be fair, I really don’t think this is at all indicative of most Hillary supporters, but I also don’t think sexist trolls are at all indicative of most Bernie supporters, either.

(Sorry if this image is upsetting).

As Jeb Lund wrote in Rolling Stone last week:

And if anyone respects women, it’s Bill Clinton!

I was referring to the recent comments by Steinem. I thought the “and her surrogates” at the top was clear, but perhaps it was not.

I don’t know, I think the way Clinton and her surrogates have been talking down to young people, and now especially young women, will not serve her well in the general election if she is the nominee. She really needs all the turnout she can get, and patronizing young voters as silly, childish, and now “boy crazy”

Lol, that’s awesome. I bought my entire family (Mom, Dad, two brothers, also my husband and my brother’s fiancée) matching Bernie shirts for Xmas.

Your grandma is seriously awesome.

Maybe she just wants some young tail ;)

My 65 year old mom supports Bernie. Maybe I should warn my dad about what she’s really up to, before she runs off with a Berniebro!

I hadn’t seen this one before, thanks!

The original article talked about her being shielded of criticism (esp. In regards to race issues) by virtue of White Feminism, which I think is a fair point that hasn’t had enough discussion. My point in sharing it was not to say her supporters are racist, really.

I haven’t called anyone a racist. You are the one making those claims. I don’t care who or what Hillary supporters do; I care what Hillary herself stands for. And she stands for some problematic shit:

“Only a white person would fall for it...” A white person didn’t *write* it. That’s totally unfair.

I think the Feministing article speaks for itself. I dont think the author is hiding behind her bona fides as much sharing her POV. If you have reasons to support HRC, cool. There are lots of us who have valid reasons not to, and are tired of being equated with white 20 something dudebros.

I’m a woman, and, respectfully, I do not support HRC.

I loathe him, but that’s a damn good line!

I admire a lot of these women. As a woman from Michigan, whose first vote was in 2000, Debbie Stabenow is someone I am proud to have voted for in my first vote, and I’m so glad she is still in office. Her comments about Flint are spot-on.

It might not make you live longer, but eating this way will probably make your life *seem* a lot longer...
