Yeah, it having been owned in Texas 18 years ago is no big deal. But if I had a showy car I wouldn’t leave a big-ass window sticker on it unless, as you say, I was scared I’d break the windshield. And that makes me think, has the windshield been broken since 2004? How good of care has really been taken of this thing?

The best part of the windshield is how they haven’t removed the Texas DOT sticker from 2004.

1. Texas Department of Transportation sticker from 2004 next to the windshield crack

The best Spark is the Spark EV. That is a fun car.

The highest non-typo mileage Leaf for sale in the US right now has 117,670 miles.

From...your dress? How would...lmao

I would guess the warranty reimbursement rates are crap. No reason a shop can’t replace a headlight on a Prius.

Do they not have mosquitos in Britain?

You’re 100% sure it’s not worth just getting a new traction battery with a warranty?

When my wife doesn’t trust it anymore.

Yeah I’m sure a mentally ill Honduran guy has a lot of resources that can be drawn on.

Those are the sidebar ads.

Those people had a different relationship with their own mortality than I do.

Seriously, is it because I’m in my 30s now or have headlights gone fucking insane?

I basically had to do this once, when a mouse ate the crankshaft position sensor wire on my C-Max Energi. It worked fine in EV mode but would immediately stop when the engine came on.

It is good to do good things, like reduce pollution, and bad to do bad things.

It’s not even in nice shape. How does the passenger side of the armrest get that ripped up, and are we going to talk about the wheels?

Or a Spark EV, which is a lot more maintainable (tires are normal sizes, body parts aren’t unique to the electric model, etc.).

I think it’s a good bet that once Ford crosses the line (also likely this year), the current scheme is going away.

It’s also not a plug-in hybrid, or a plug-in car of any sort. The hydrogen Mirai is a bizarre choice to illustrate this story with.
