In the TdF when Armstrong was racing, everyone who finished in the top ~10 has been linked to PEDs. Are there support guys who didn't dope? Sure, why not? Did they actually ever have a chance? Ha, that's a good one.

The Miata is a great car because its grandmother & gf died on the same day, and that motivates it to work harder than all the other cars every single day.
Toyota: Once you drive one, you'll never stop.
Nope, the best designs will ALWAYS be done as a whole, not as pieces.
Safety requirements will prevent there from being rapid prototyped car bodies. I am also not convinced we will ever see full adoption of steer by wire just like we won't see brake by wire. Aerodynamics & efficient use of space will dictate much of the shape of the body regardless of other possibilities. Sure, I can…
Agree completely.
I think the Model S has a ton of brilliant innovations, but the touch screen is not one of them. In fact, it is the dumbest thing I've seen in a car in perhaps my entire life.
2. I reject that touch screens are an inevitability. I hate menu-driven controls, and I refuse to buy a car with them. I hope that customers & designers will get over their cell-phone lust and realize what they really need and what really works. (I would settle for the NHTSA banning touch screens.) Designing a good…

oops—the trip is in a menu, not the tach.
... which is exactly why wagons are the "lame compromise."
Mazda doesn't need to beat Honda/Toyota in sales. (They may not even have the production capacity to do so.) All they need to do is sell all they make and continue to improve the reputation of their brand. They just need to be profitable & sustainable.
Sure, there are plenty of people looking for one, but sales evidence shows that virtually no one buys them.
