Oh, I didn’t mind the lack of detail, it was more the “I have to solve a problem” cut “I have solved the problem.” I didn’t want to see the working out, but I did want to see the effort.
Saw it this evening. Really good, really close adaptation of the book. Perhaps a little shortcutty on the problem solving- there’s less of the agitating and nutting out that was in the book- but it’s very well done regardless.
