Death trap? They are INSANELY safe, not even for its size. They are safe period.

The driver of the Smart car - a 60 year-old man - did not die as a result of this crash. I think that speaks volumes about the relative safety of the Smart car.

A curious statement here, since this Smart Car seems to have protected its driver from dying in a severe crash.

Right up there is black protesters looting minority owned businesses to protest police brutality from police force that’s mostly black. Ignorance has no race.

It does require both plates but 1) you get like a month-long grace period after buying a car before you need to plate it and 2) the cops are generally too busy to sweat front-plate violations unless they’re stopping you for something else.

Thank you. Youtube’s compression is one thing, Facebook’s is on a whole ‘nother level. Access to the raw video files would help to see the plate and other details.

Ask Alan if he can provide the uncompressed videos (or Jose, if Alan doesn’t have it). There are too many compression artifacts to get a good look at the license plate on either cars or to get a good look at any details.

That was almost like a pit maneuver tap, so I don’t think they would have deployed.

Was side curtain airbag deployed? Hopefully all local Infiniti service providers are on the lookout.

It’s the new Acura NSXXX.

It looks like it wants out. Orange is a good color for it. It’s too bad these cars are doomed to be investments / garage art, because they sound amazing when revved (as some guy did at the SF Cars & Coffee).
