The gamepad is the best controller for Mario Kart 8. The Pro controller and nunchuk/wiimote combo aren't even close.

I enjoyed what I played of Halo 4. The graphics and world design was gorgeous while the gameplay felt fresh for the series. I especially loved how quickly the writers drew you into the story.

I agree with you. I know that, for me, jumping into Halo 4 after playing Halo 3 was a surprise. The Forerunners were suddenly villains who were at war with humans, when I believe it had previously been suggested that humans were descendants of the Forerunners.
