I like the simplicity of the face makeup, but the chlorophyll/muscle imagined as armor wasn't a good move.

Are you familiar with the fantasy script? Much more faithful to the tone and aesthetic of the early games. Koopa was written as a humanoid turtle-dragon to be portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
My favorite movie. Koopa was imagined brilliantly, although I do feel that Hopper wasn't the best choice. His performance was all over the place.
I agree. Some things work on film no matter how outrageous, while others simply won't.
More early sources (outside of the Dragon Coins) suggest Yoshi to be a dinosaur, although I think that Nintendo feels the terms are interchangeable in the setting.
The Super Mushroom at the end was also from the wrong game.
What golden stars? How did you miss them?
The sculpture in the header photo is similar to the Wraith Demon from Doom3.
To further this question, why is it that mainstream videos now do "step-mom" roles rather than just full-on "mom" roles like the industry did in the '70s/'80s?
Is it so difficult for a writer on a science-oriented blog to use an accurate stock photo? Rats and mice don't look alike at all.
Sounds like Nintendo went above and beyond to solve your problem. What's the issue?
I consider myself a Marxist/Communist and even I don't care about the consumerist aspects of American holidays. I live in a capitalist society, so I believe that we should do our best to make it work. Holidays are a small influx into the economy.
Oh God. That's horrible. Reminds me of the animated adaptation of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. They had already recorded dialogue using the name "Frisby," only to then ask Wham-O if it would be okay considering the similarity to the name of their toy Frisbee. They weren't, so all instances had to be redubbed.
It's a stock photo.
Your then boyfriend and you might be interested to know that they're currently producing a retrospective documentary on the making of the live-action Super Mario Bros. film. Lots of passion there for a similarly ill-conceived project.
His work in the Star Wars EU was bad, but forgivable since there are just so many people working within that setting that quality can never be controlled completely. The EU was also never meant to be completely canon anyway.
He continues to be a blight on Dune.
What happens in the comics does not necessarily happen the same way (if at all) in a film adaptation. You spoiled a potential plot point simply because you have no respect for others.
Hispanics and Asians can be Caucasian as well. It's a meaningless term.
How is it disrespectful to say that a woman was forcibly mutilated has experienced mutilation?
