Boston and NYC are much different cities than the Central Valley of California. It doesn't cost as much to live here. If I lived in either of those cities I would certainly tip higher.

Well, like I said, we rarely ever have a bill that amounts to $20 or less. It's almost always closer to $25.

To be fair, I wasn't being very reasonable myself.

Because you were patting yourself on the back for tipping above and beyond what is necessary or standard. Not everyone is as wealthy as you. It's sickening dealing with rich people who don't understand the difficulties of being poor.

Most sources online in regards to travel and dining recommend 15%, including CNN/Money.

Once again, please explain to me how 15% is not fair.

Servers in many states do not make minimum wage, yes, but in California they do. I know this because my mother is a server and I worked in a restaurant as a busser/server.

I always tip at restaurants. I do not tip at fast food chains or corner stores that seem to expect it despite not actually having servers.

No, servers make their money through their hourly wage. In California they make minimum wage, same as I do. Tips only supplement their wages.

I just don't understand people who believe that some alcoholic beverages are better than others when alcohol itself is not a pleasing taste. It's all bad.

At $20, the tip should be no more than $3. It's also just about impossible to have a bill be ONLY $20.

Alcohol is inherently foul, so anyone who drinks any form is an idiot anyways.

Look at you, being rich enough to afford to pay servers more than I make myself.

So, you're a narcissistic sociopath?

Just because you agree to something doesn't mean you also consent. Far too many prostitutes would rather do anything else if they could.

How exactly is using a term "cultural appropriation"?

I haven't seen the live-action Chipmunks sequel, but I do remember the gender of the three female Chipmunks in the original cartoons being somewhat irrelevant. They didn't dress so "feminine."

You don't like it when Ariel, Tiana or Esmeralda have breasts simply because they're animated?

Not trolling. Just saying that any work of fiction that utilizes dinosaurs outside of time travel is essentially fantasy. Might as well go pop culture.

Why would anyone want feathers on their dinosaurs? Dinos are best portrayed as stupid, cold-blooded reptilian monsters.
