Oh my God. That Venomoth has the worst move list possible.

I've read that the directors and screenwriters met with a group of Christian, Jewish and Islamic leaders to ensure it was as respectful to all three groups as possible. Some of them were still offended when it came out.

They were more faithful to the books and, in some cases, better acted, but by no means "better" as a whole. The production values were considerably less and it shows.
