I've seen that movie and detested it. It's horribly written and horribly directed.

I don't have a Blu-Ray player, nor does anyone else I know. We still buy DVD and, on occasion, VHS. It's nice to know that the industry still plays to us stuck with old technology.

Standalone, monster-of-the-week episodes of the later seasons vary in quality, but ultimately have the same highs and lows of the first five seasons.
He is a misunderstood anti-hero in the books with strong father figure issues. The later books actually make him more soft and incompetent than in his original outing.
