Hmm, clutch by wire. Now lets take this a step further. Automated clutch with a clutch pedal by wire. Shift linkage by wire.  Allow the driver to switch between automatic and manual mode. Let them have 3 pedals when on the open road and automatic in traffic.

They’re way better looking than the 4th generation Supra.

Unfortunately the Cummins is derated to 350/660 when hooked to the G56 manual, so those torque figures are only accurate with the auto (930 lb-ft is only with the extra cost Aisin trans in the 3500)

Well, I kinda have to point out that there was a Corolla Hatchback that was at least sort of interesting once.

This car is going to be the most disappointing reveal ever. I would much rather have them bring back the Celica as a sports car for the people - a Mustang competitor that it originally was. RWD, retro styling, maybe throw some louvers on it, keep the price low so people can actually buy it.
