It’s very easy to forget them on my side of the pond! We used to see youths driving around noisily in WRXs and the like but they’ve just gone away. Last time I looked Subaru’s market share was something like 0.16%.

Tops and doors were dealer installed (usually aftermarket) options in the 50’s-70’s. Most jeeps were delivered and sold without them.
