Grandma was a backwoods West Virginia Navy gal...she too always had some pretty "creative" solutions to fix just about anything.

Yeah, I was just thinking that this was something that used to be covered in High School Driver's Ed class, although I'm sure I heard it first from my grandmother, who was a plane mechanic during WWII. She was pretty damn handy with cars as well.

My old GST had a unique problem. My upper timing cover had cracked (read: had a huge hole in it), and one of the wires found its way into the timing belt.

Get some heat shrink shielding and wrap them suckers in it. Just be sure they can withstand the heat before you have melted rubber gluing it in place.

I bought some nice magnacore wires for my talon and after a year they started arching and misfiring. I ended up buying some Autozone lifetime warranty ones and swapping them out every other oil change. Id just tell them they were arching and theyd give me new ones, Id even swap them right in the parking lot. Never

Helmets are the law here and myself/everyone I know who rides has no desire to ride without a helmet. If it was made into law everywhere, within a generation or two, very very few people would complain because they're aware of the benefits from the start and you're not trying to change ingrained, bad habits.
