I totally agree, Switch is all about 1st party games and Indie games. There are enough Indie games that aren’t graphically demanding being produced that I think the Switch will be able to thrive for a while.

The only issue is people see 3rd party publishers porting games to Switch that should never be on there,

I mean, Nintendo didn’t port the game over. Obsidian did. I think the Switch is exactly what it needs to be. Releasing a console that competes with current gen systems when they are already released and bought by most of their market would end up with barely anyone buying Nintendo’s late challenger.
