Depends on what got you hyped for the game in the first place and what YOU actually want out of the game.  I tend to not let other’s hype drive my decision making but rely on gameplay I see and if I’m on the fence I’ll consider waiting a bit.

Exactly this.  The Witcher 3 had it’s decent share of bugs and complaints when it first released too and given that the game had 5 plus years to sharpen up, it’s not a fare comparison people are making.
