You know who I can get in contact with during the actual business hours of eg restaurants? Restaurants. And taxi companies, and delivery companies. The "desk jobs" you're talking about aren't customer service jobs for industries that are open at night.

This is absolute bull. I had an incident with a DoorDash driver on a Friday night at approximately 8PM PST, I called and they were removed from their system within 5-10 minutes.  This amount of delay is completely ridiculous.

If there are enough high visibility or urgent topics that require cross-team assistance, they should plan shifts and coverage accordingly.
